SINGA is an award that international students are granted with an excellent academic degree and / or results of expertise, and a strong interest in doing research leading to a doctoral degree (PhD) in Science and Engineering from the University of Singapore.
We offer a scholarship known as the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) for international students. It is encouraged graduates with a passion for research and excellent academic results to request SINGA.

Full tuition fees
Monthly stipend
Settlement allowance (One-time SGD 1,000 Settling-in Allowance)
Airfare grant (One-time Airfare Grant of SGD 1,500)

Graduates with a passion for research and excellent academic results
Good skills in written and spoken English
Good reports from academic referees

The selection criteria for SINGA include the applicant's academic record, publications, recommendations from academic referees, personal achievements, passion and ability to excel in research, and an interview if short-listed.
